Born in 1964 in Guadalajara, Mexico, he draws from the Latin American genre of Magic Realism where symbolic and fantastic elements blend with realistic atmospheres, unveiling a world where anything is possible. His allegorical art – mixed with equal parts whimsy, wonder and mysticism – often carries metaphysical and philosophical messages.
