“Decentralized” explores using simple lines to serendipitously carve a space into a collection of independent blank canvases. Each canvas shape represents a unique opportunity to explore bold color and rich textures. The canvases visually band together to form new larger shapes, suggesting movement and a sense of translucently. This is what I love about this series. I see new things each time, and I can influence that illusion simply with my choices of color, lights and darks.
