ShareGallery is a unique marketplace that distributes retail sales opportunities throughout the world and lets both the Buyer and the Artisan share in the profits.
How it Works for Buyers
Items you buy through ShareGallery are not only things you can enjoy for yourself, but are also shoppable for other people that encounter them. ShareGallery allows you to earn a percentage of the sale when someone scans your item to purchase a copy for themselves.
Pricing and Studio Revenue Share for Buyers
The commission percentage can vary depending on the item, but typically you can earn 30% of the profit on each sale that originates from your item. Profit is calculated based on the retail price minus any costs of the actual goods.
Payment of the Buyer Revenue Share will be made via Stripe, and will be sent to the Stripe payment account provided to ShareGallery by the Buyer on the Platform.
How it Works for Artisans
Artisans can register their items within the ShareGallery platform so that they can become shoppable out in the real world wherever they are displayed.
Pricing and Studio Revenue Share for Artisans
Artisans who upload items to the ShareGallery platform will establish a wholesale price (“Wholesale Price”) and a retail price (“Retail Price”) for their Works as follows:
a. A Wholesale Price shall be established for sale of the Works directly by ShareGallery to retail establishments, such as hotels, restaurants, vacation rentals, etc., that will display the Works at their physical locations along with a QR Tag that can be scanned for further purchases of the Works through the Platform.
b. A Retail Price shall be established for sale of the Works (i) directly on the Platform; or (ii) through the scan of the QR Tag located next to the Works and completed through the Platform.
Artisans agree that, upon the sale of Works, they will receive compensation determined as follows:
- 90% of the Wholesale Price or Retail Price, as defined above, in the event the Work is sold directly through Artisan’s own Means; or
- 60% of the Wholesale Price or Retail Price, in the event the Work is sold directly through ShareGallery Means.
Artisan Means: means the sale of their own Work through the scan of a QR Tag at a location chosen and managed by the Artisan, such as an art show, trade show, gallery, or other similar location of Artisan’s choosing.
ShareGallery Means: means the sale of Work whereby the Purchaser makes a purchase: (i) directly through ShareGallery via ShareGallery’s sales team; (ii) by visiting the ShareGallery website and directly purchases Work through the Platform; or (iii) through the scan of a QR Tag of a ShareGallery purchased item that is on display at a physical location.
Payment of the Artisan Revenue Share will be made via Stripe, and will be sent to the Stripe payment account provided to ShareGallery by the Artisan on the Platform.
